Listen sweetheart. I'm saying drag queens wear make up as it's an aggregated form of art for showbusiness. So take a seat at the back of the class and actually learn reading comprehension.

I said drag queens aren't the ones saying women need to wear makeup. I'm saying society is. And drag queens wear makeup as a form of art. What's so hard to understand about that.

Clearly you just hate drag queens. If your fragile female ego takes a beating cause a drag queen looks better than you. That's a you problem.

As a woman who doesn't wear makeup. I think drag queens are great. They're funny. They're amazing at their form of art. And they're also in a group that gets hate from the world, as the majority are gay. So I'm all for them going out there and doing what to do despite the hate and shit they get from homophobic fuckwads.

It's easier to hope someone will have information on an individual who's is reported on. Someone might see the article and realise they saw her in a coffee shop with a man, looking very uneasy. And tip off police.

Whereas homelessness is a much harder thing to tackle. That requires government intervention rather than individual intervention from someone who saw something suspicious. And getting a government to care about homeless people is a huge ask.
I hate that we have a homelessness issue, and I hate that it's not reported on much at all. Things should be in the public eye, in hopes that people wrote to their local rep to try get help.

But it's more likely you'll find a missing person (dead or alive) by posting an article than it is likely you'll resolve homelessness.

Oh my gosh, that is adorable.

To the artist who drew this:
This artist says keep up the good work! You're doing great. I'm a huge lover of foxes, my art started by drawing foxes when I was younger. Yours are so much better than mine were!

Nourish their talent, let it grow! Art is an amazing thing and it allows us to express ourselves where words cannot.

I liked it. The typeface, size and spacing made it easier to read. They included all the points in a relatively short amount of text, lots of people don't like to read walls of text that have the points hidden in amongst unnecessary text.

They put important points in bold so even if you skimmed you could see the important points and read that paragraph if it was what you wanted information on.

It makes it easier for people who don't really understand the issues, to understand what it is and why it's wrong.

And this autistic person appreciated the simplicity and straightforwardness of it. As I assume others would too. So it's more accessable and understandable for people like me.

Well thank you for making me choke on my coffee. That seabirds comment really caught me off guard.

Drugs, a breakdown, midlife crisis, or just Elon showing us who Elon actually is. Find out on the next episode of downward spiral!

That's exactly what it is, control and surveillance. They don't like that the public have stuff that isn't accessable. I wonder if they'll complain when they realise it'll be harder for them to hide their shadiness if they get rid of E2EE. Then again, they know they're shady, so it feels like a case of, we're shady so you must be too. So now we want to see everything you do so we can watch and control you better.

It's not about the children, governments pull the children or terrorism card because people see those words and don't think to look deeper, cause if you go against the policy you must hate children and want the country to burn!

Jesus. The outside I was like okay that's fine, lots of trees, I like this.

And inside, oh boy I'd rather run through the building in outlast than live in that house. Wtf is going on with the door? Did someone draw a scene in dirt like they do on white vans? What's with the tiles? Did they go into a closing down sale and just buy a few boxes of each tile they could then throw them at the wall like the Grinch sorting mail?

The walls. Moving on. I just can't.

The stained glass window was pretty, till I noticed the middle design looked like tiddys.

I'm done with this house. Kill it with fire.

You mean like how religion indoctrinates people and hides actual pedophiles while pointing the finger elsewhere?

And the long history of abuse of children by nuns and priests in children's homes and religious schools/ facilities?

Being LGBT isn't something you just wake up and choose to 'identify' as. You don't wake up and decide, hey I'm gonna be gay! It's just part of who you are.

Religion is a choice and something that can and does indoctrinate people. Maybe look in the right direction and you'll see who the actual bad guys are.

Of course they had to mention the online safety bill. Fuck off with that one, it's not 'to protect the children.' it's for control and spying on everyone.

Smart gadgets can be exploited yes, but where do they stop? No privacy. Certain tech banned? Complete open policy where we have to let the gov see everything like our private messages, bank statements, listen to our calls, implant a chip in us so we can be tracked on the off chance we refuse to use technology they can track?
This government is going crazy with the antiprivacy bullshit and it feels like this is going to be another 'we need access so we can be sure people aren't being abused' lie, so they have more ways to spy on everyone.

[-] thepixelfox@kbin.social 15 points 1 year ago

Neither would you.

I see you everywhere with your bullshit.

[-] thepixelfox@kbin.social 12 points 1 year ago

I blame them all. The idiots proposing this shit and the government agreeing it's a good idea. They're all morons.
