Nope. White are real people, too. You respawn white back at the beginning (i think you have the option to, so you could stay red as well) if you managed to find all the glyphs. Ive been the White Traveler lots of times.

There’s obviously some fancy science term for that, but we had something “less smart” we used to call it as kids. There was some “old ways” thing we were taught that depending on how many stars were caught in that halo was how many days until the next rain…. Maybe someone else will shed some better info, but your comment reminded me of that!

I lived in North Dakota for almost 5 years, they dont use salt. Just a sand/dirt mix. Things get really nasty in the spring/early summer when it all starts melting. They were trying out a weird chemical mix when we moved away, i want to say some glycol something or other? It was actually pretty slimy but way better than ice.

If i remember right (looong time ago) letting ghouls into the tower was one option for how to play out that quest line. It was kind of written to be the “bad” outcome because it obviously killed all the people in the tower, so likely most people didnt play it out that way…buuut, that was the rich, snobby people, so ya know…eat the rich.

Also to add (having just spent a good portion of the season going to various Christmas Markets all over Central Europe), a lot of times these central square event spaces are essentially the roofs over underground parking garages. LOTS of multi-level underground parking garages in all these cities.

Pretty sure that exact feature is built into the native Hue app, as long as you have the bulbs that support those kinds of colors. I see it when i try to make a “wake up” automation, i’d have to look again to see if there is an opposite for sunset. You can automate bedtime or go to sleep automations, and schedule them for sunset/sunrise or specific times.

Edit- just quickly looked through the app- there IS a sunrise for a wakeup automation, but not seeing any default sunset types. Might have to create your own by fading through some other sunset colors while dimming. Which is done basically like you are sayin; pick a color and and start time, then another color at another start time, etc. you can set whether to snap to these colors or fade to them over a period of time which also picking brightness. BUT- this is just in the native Hue app, i dont know about other Hue compatible apps.

There are, not sure what your qualifications for a “risen van” are, but Ford Transits and Mercedes Sprinters have an AWD variant. Dodge has had 4wd panel vans since the 90s, not sure if they still are, tho. There’s probably other makes out there, but that’s what I know off the top of my head. I think there’s also aftermarket companies that can mod vans into 4wd, but that’s getting a little crazy for just a basic work van.

And no friends!

Those touch mechanics are things you don’t need on any other platform as opposed to literally the only option via mobile. Games as shallow as Fruit Ninja, seriously? You ever pay a Nintendo Wii? Or any of the Xbox Kinect type motion tracking games (i dont remember the Playstation variant)? That’s a hell of a lot more immersive than twitching your finger on your phone. Lets not even get into the world of VR gaming that’s been around for years now.

Multi finger gestures- like an entire PC keyboard…while moving your mouse? Can you use 10 fingers on your phone at the same time? Or multi button/direction combos on a controller? Plus the fact you can program multi-function macros on a PC.

Pinch zoom- mouse wheel: faster, more control, & way more range.

Swipe- like move your mouse? Or a controller joystick? Or the arrow keys? RTS or any top-down games have been using “swipe” variants to move around maps basically as long as the game genre has existed. Most mice come standard these days with thumb buttons that are pre-programmed as literally Forward and Backwards buttons (think page turn, or swipe left/right). Even the mechanic of hotkeys that most games have.

Add in the ability to right-click, or hold any button and click and you open literally endless opportunities for any sort of “finger” or “swipe” type control. A PC mouse is literally your hand with a LOT more fingers.

But lets go deeper…there ARE touch interfaces for other platforms. Not used much for gaming, but how do you think digital artists draw and paint?

Basically, these touch gestures you’re so hung up on are literally all you have- and it ain’t much. Anything else i could add has been said multiple times from all the other comments….

Yup, that would absolutely stress my dog out. She’s always stressed enough at the vet, but she isn’t very social with other dogs so this would just escalate things even more. She much prefers to just be ignored by other dogs and people she doesn’t know yet.

Haha, i’m in the same boat, man! When I bought my Husky it was already covered in blue anodized parts! No way I would ever spend money re-buying the same part serving the same function at no better capacity, only in a different color! Outrageous!
Seriously, though…it was already covered in all the bling parts, but if I had to replace something (barkbusters, rear rotor guards, etc) I almost always caved and got the blue option…..
