Really think they have the ability to see that? Because I don't. Nor does history. My gut tells me the Dems are going to move dramatically further right after this because "they didn't appeal enough to the 'center'" and "they can't rely on the left to support them". Our only option might be a leftist coalition committed to not voting dem until they capitulate or we gain enough support to be a viable party.

This is my exact reaction. The issue with HD2 was the bait and switch of adding the requirement at a later date, particularly since they had already sold copies in places where people literally could not make PSN accounts.

Not that I agree with Sony's decision to require the account for GOW, but at least they're being up front about it this time. If you don't want the account, there are 500 billion other quality games you can buy that don't require one.

My god, do this one. I have like 800 hours into this game. It's amazing.

Same regime that outlawed posting pictures of Winnie the Pooh because he was being compared to their figurehead. With that context, the surprise should be...lessened.

Legitimately curious because I'm OOTL: why would Saudi Arabia want to destroy Twitter? My (admittedly uninformed) instinct says it would be a waste of their large investment and control over a platform ripe with potential for them to control narratives over their shitty PR for human rights abuses and other shit. Would it just be to prevent negative coverage of their actions from spreading?

Again, not arguing, just legitimately curious. I figured Twitter's downfall would be really bad for them since they have sway over Musk and a vested interest in the platform.

Inconclusive. We need more data on Mexico's listening stats before we can truly say.

As far as I understand from the article, by Chinese law what they're accusing him of is a crime, so technically this is much, much stupider.

Very disappointed that there doesn't seem to be video of his tantrum. I could really use that boost to my day.
