Magnetic field strength is proportional to current * number of turns.

Using a resistor should work but so should using 20gauge copper if the number of turns is the same.

Just more nonsense showing how broken modern copyright is. It's too hard to write weasely legalese to just say you have the right to reproduce content submitted to your website, you have to own it entirely. And if you own it, why not sell it?

100% a man who bought it for a day out and didn't want it taking up space for the next decade with almost no usage

The mantle is between 500-4500K, meaning most of it is hot enough to glow at least a dull red.

You don't say lava is black because once it cools down it turns black...

I'm kind of surprised RED is still small enough and Nikon is still big enough for this to happen. In my mind I expected them to have a thousand+employees

Lmao idk if "most" even holds up in fiction. Even the "good" cops in fiction tend to perform illegal searches, abuse suspects, break the law in countless ways to get the bad guys. How many times have we seen the "good guys" stymied by their inability to search a home but one turns to the other and sarcastically says "oh I think I heard someone scream for help lol" kicks down the door?

Sometimes they have a conscience but I'd call very few fictional cops "good"

I'm not convinced many of the grips pictured actually work to pick things up with the chopsticks, much less grip something weighty with them

Scarfs and clothing in general are thought of as warmth-bringing but they only reflect our own heat back at us - they're insulating. In Frosty's case the scarf would insulate him from rising external temperatures and keep him cold longer.

Webcomic DEBUNKED. NOT SCIENTIFICALLY ACCURATE!

They're weight-limited rather than space-limited

I'm not one of the maniacs making threats of any kind, but honestly it really seems like death threats are the only thing that gets any attention anymore, so I can understand why it's done...

Is "eat the rich" not a death threat in its own right?

This is why I haaaate "today I learned" posts sourced from a cheesy interview. Some exaggerated or even sarcastic statement gets spun into absolute truth and it's pervasive
