The whole "article" looks and feels AI generated.

This community is so fucked. I'm glad I got banned.

It's still expensive, though.

What is it you're actually trying to accomplish? Connect remote services to your self-hosted cloud?

[–] statelesz@slrpnk.net 7 points 1 week ago

Well, this "authenticated user" could be your fucking LLM and this is really concerning. Besides that a single CVE 10 is also very concerning no matter how old the affected version is.

Just look at the recent vulnerabilities it had. It just had a CVE 10 in January and March of this year.

Semites is an obsolete term

People call Israel an ethnostate in a derogatory way, when Palestine is the same thing. It's a state for a certain ethnicity - Palestinians. And they too call for Palestinians to return to it. But when it's Palestine people call it national liberation.

I don't want to say the Israeli government aren't racist right-wing assholes that are committing genocidal war crimes. I simply think it's somewhat stupid to criticise Israel for something (ethnostate = bad) when Palestine is basically doing the same thing.
You get me?

This might be an odd setup, but I prefer Pangolin for the easy deployment of a combined Reverse Proxy and VPN but also wanted to play around with Netbird, which provides a mesh VPN.

So I have Pangolin installed on a VPS and connected to my home server which is running the Newt client.
Then I've installed Netbird on my home server using the Self-hosting Quickstart Guide. I choose "Other/Manual" when it came to selecting a Reverse Proxy and created the respective public resource in Pangolin for your subdomain. Just add multiple targets for multiple endpoints and enable Advanced Mode:

Just make sure to select h2c instead of http for /signalexchange.SignalExchange and /management.ManagementService. And obviously replace the 192.168.178.123 with your IP address.

Then start the docker-compose.yml and browse to your subdomain to register your initial account. Done!

I just installed NetBird on a VPS using the Self-Hosting Quickstart Guide. Now I want to connect the VPS using Netbird to another client. When I also use Docker to register the VPS as a Netbird peer the whole network gets messed up because now the server and the client try to manage the network. So how am I supposed to register the VPS as a netbird peer to connect it to other peers?

I hope this post fits the content and format of this community, if not I'm sorry.

I'm just incredibly shocked by the fact that an admin of the instance lemmy.dbzer0.com is openly supporting Hamas.
