Google glass wasn't AR though, it was just a display strapped to some glasses. It didn't do 3D or head tracking or anything.

Is there a generic name for this kind of product? I figure I'll be interested in these at some point in the future, at which point I will have long since forgotten the list but will be able to google them up given the right terminology. Other than "raspberry pi alternative" which would inevitably center the results around how they relate to the rpi rather than the products themselves.

I guess that would help you get all the edges of the cave in, including the little rocks at the left of frame that I seem to recall were the tricky bit, but iirc without a special lens the ratio of cave mouth to middlingly-distant islands/rocks looks off too (the rocks take up a lot less of the cave mouth than you'd expect). I think that's what the issue was anyway, it's been years since I was there and I don't have my old phone to check the photos as a reference point. I know we didn't try panorama mode but I don't think it would have solved the issues with proportions/composition.

You can still get some neat pictures there but I recall it being impossible (for whatever reason) to exactly replicate the composition of this one with a regular phone, even with the original as a reference and considerable effort.

I know the joke is that that's literally the same file from windows, and also the person tweeting it probably doesn't live in the golden bay area (near Nelson, New zealand), but people really can just go for a walk and take a photo at that spot. It won't look like this though unless you have a professional camera with a wide angle lens, because the cave isn't very deep and it's hard to get far enough back to get a framing anything like this, especially with the way the roof slopes down at the back. You gotta really crouch and cram yourself back in there, and even then it won't look quite right.

It's Wharariki Beach, specifically.

Pro wrestling is fake (or, is all just fiction, like a TV show or a theater performance). Wrestling and boxing are not fake.
