I remember the argument with my local regulator, ACMA, about not being able to get broadband.

They said that it’s OK because while they don’t provide access to broadband they allow access to broadband.

Honestly, a $10,000 fine seems a vast step up from the usual dregs trawled up from the bottomless pit that telecom regulation tends to be.

Me playing GeoGuessr I was once placed in Flanders with a sign near me saying "Wegdek in slechte staat". The wegdek was indeed in a slechte staat.

Searching for pictures of these signs on Google, they seem to be accompanied by notes saying "Doe er dan iets aan!".
