I love mine. I was a batch 4 I think. I had a keyboard issue that framework took care of very quickly.

In terms of durability, I carry it to and from work everyday, and have had no issues.

In terms of fit and finish, it isn't perfect. The mousepad spacers are a little uneven.

Other than that everything has been working fine, gpu, number pad, etc. I am running linux on it with no issues.

When wood is properly sealed up in walls, it lasts a very long time. We don't really have buildings on an old world timescale, but we do still have colonial wood frame buildings.

I had this happen with multiple programs for a while, and I found out that my computer had changed the cpu governor from "perfomance" to "power save"
