Works every time and after playing just about all of the modern paradox games, you really don't need the dlcs unless you're really into the base game and even then the time to learn means most of it won't even be within your grasp until you're like 50 to 100 hours in.

I bet one lemmy penny that he does a debate. He got out of the republican debates because he was the clear winner, but no federal election debate would show weakness and that would be bad for his brand.

I also think the debates will be an absolute disaster for all parties involved which will benefit trump as his side doesn't care what he says or does.

Why is that worse?

Help desk is the answer. The key is to work towards understanding the industry you're doing support in. A ton of companies love support members because they end up knowing the product, the use cases, and the clients better than most other folks in the company.

It's because degrees aren't unfortunately full proof certifications of your skill set. They should be, and they should require recertification to prove your skill set. This is handled differently in different countries and with different industries but requiring more deep and trusted educational programs would resolve the problem. It makes sense that a company wants to ensure they're getting what the candidate says they are.

Hiring processes are a joke currently and involve a clearly bullshit song and dance that everyone knows is a lie. I ver much don't like tests in this capacity but it's clear it's a symptom of issues in higher academia.

Yeah you're right and I think we're looking for civily liable instead of conviction in this scenario - not that it should make a difference.

As a native English speaker I fully agree that your intuition makes sense and I've also always hated this phrase because it does sound backwards.

I fell into this bottomless pit and don't know when I'll upgrade. My 2070 super is great but showing it's age and I've waited so long that now effectively the entire interior of my case needs to be upgraded. Just can't justify the cost right now as I know it'll amount to 1k+

Idk why people are down voting you. Yes its a Hong Kong based publication but it's been owned by Alibaba since 2016.

Absolutely calls into question the veracity of the claims and makes addressing the authors sources more important.

Lol - from the South China Morning Post sourced from the China Academy of Science. I have a hard time accepting this as anything beyond attempted good PR. I wonder how this squares with the demographic and real estate issues China is facing.

https://www.ifw-kiel.de/topics/war-against-ukraine/ukraine-support-tracker/

For the context of this article the US has provided 43.9 billion in military aid (defined as military equipment or weapons) as opposed to the UK's 6.57 Billion. By a large margin that is the most tangible assistance provided to Ukraine than any other country participating. The US could provide more funding, but money is not nearly as useful as already produced and available military equipment in the immediate term. I just hope the US can continue to assist, but Congress won't pass anything it seems (see the less than 25 bills passed this session).

"Russian economy is about to flip the fuck out"

Just curious, what's your sourcing on that? I ask because this has been said since the sanctions were put in place but they've managed to limb along.
