Same here, I already have a Piefed account. It’s nice. Just not using it because I’d rather use Voyager lol
What if we put a cap on the # of users that can be on a single instance? That way they can’t get so big and we’re forced to spread out

That’s a crazy stat, man.
Yeah and that kinda looks bad at first glance. Just clicking on what seems like the biggest community (most subscribers) and seeing that it’s actually dead (instance went down or the community was migrated elsewhere).
I just assume every rural area is like that. Doesn’t matter how liberal the state.

Yeah I put avatars on my early Lemmy accounts, but then switched to Voyager. Now I don’t care because you don’t see avatars on Voyager anyway. Plus I kind of like the old school pre-social media feel.
I think it’d be nice if apps could let choose show or hide avatars in the settings.
