My old person trait is that I don't like short form video, I learn and internalize less and find that my day is chipped away at by tiktok or youtube shorts when I allow myself to watch them.

I love this but my lemmy client really needs to shorten long messages and have an (expand) button if we're gonna have huge character limits like this because scrolling past this took an hour.

I joined lemm.ee, but on my first day (3 days ago) lemm.ee was having significant issues with basic things like image upload or creating a community. Because of that, I moved over to lemmy.world "temporarily", but now I have more content here and am likely to just stay. I would have liked to have been on a smaller instance though for sure.

Same here, every post feels like I'm making a small contribution to a platform which I really want to succeed.
