We just verbally check in and I'm totally fine with saying where I am. I believe the important thing here is trust. If, hypothetically, we were able to set up something privacy-respecting that communicated my GPS location to my parents 24/7, I wouldn't be a fan of it. It'd feel like my parents are monitoring me because they don't trust me to be truthful about my whereabouts.
I'm 18 and fine with my parents knowing where I am so we can coordinate mealtimes and stuff. I really don't care for having a third party spy on me 24/7 though. We just Signal each other "I'm at xyz location, be back soon" and that's plenty enough.
Arteta is doing him so dirty... I wish him well fr
Thanks, saved me a click
I have braces right now and it's very uncomfortable to have anything stuck in there, so I do take extra care of my oral health at the moment. Fortunately I'll have free dental care for the foreseeable future, given that I'm going into uni and then healthcare (this is how it works where I live).
Agreed on lifelong learning, I want to (somewhat) be able to keep up with the world changing as I get older.
I see! Just curious if you had a change in workflow, or if horizontal monitors were better for your productivity or anything like that. Thanks for sharing!
I turn 18 in around a month... I guess I'd tell him to take care of himself and keep working on being less anxious, though I doubt he'd actually do it.
Not the most cursed since I had a chair and a desk with my laptop on top. But the desk was way too high up and so it was incredibly uncomfortable to use. Being at the desk for long stretches of time managed to compress my ulnar nerves to the point where they sublux once in a while and cause numbness/tingling in my hands.
lol like pizza too
Instance name lemy.lol. lol thought would be funny.
True but most of the time I don't have GPS enabled anyway lol
