Most of the coffee shops in my city were closed yesterday. Only the big corporate ones were open, and they were pretty empty.

Yeah that's a no-go. The lawn extension must be kept less than 12" tall under city ordinance, and you need a license if you're going to sell or give away those vegetables...

I would like to see both anti-AI and "slop 'em up!" forks of Linux, mostly to see which one fails first.

My hypothesis is that the anti-AI one would fail first because the slop-em-up one would end up with bots just copying a bunch of fixes from mainline Linux.

Yeah I often tell a local LLM to find problems with my code before I submit it. It's essentially a round 0 reviewer, trained on previous (human) reviews of the same project.

No you didn't. I saw on TV that everyone in McKinney is dead.

"Don't even bother looting up there" slayed me.

Interesting. I don't use any of the compose tools, so I've not faced that. I find Podman works reliably in places where I can't even get Docker to start working (such as RISC-V machines), but I also typically use podman for testing before deploying to k8s

I see the New York Times doesn't know what minicomputers are.

I'm curious why you feel this way? I'm kinda the opposite — podman has features I use that Docker doesn't.

Depends on your workflow, really.

For my use case I've found a series of rocks on an infinite beach works well.

Gather at 201 E Huron St (parking lot) tomorrow (05/07) at 6:50PM for a Die-In to tell City Council that Safety Can't Wait.

Our Demands:

  1. To City Council and MDOT, hurry up the takeover of MDOT roads within the city
  2. To MDOT, allow safety improvements and signal adjustments now
  3. To City Council, turn on the GridSmart camera features that automatically create longer crossing times for pedestrians needing extra time 4). Allocate money for Stadium safety improvements to make changes on streets the city controls right now 5). Turn off all flashing yellow left turn signals that don't yet have a pedestrian walk button override
