I wonder if her friend was Korean. I used to live in Korea and the currency difference is about 10:1 with Japan. I spent a weekend in Japan and made the same mistake once. The dev said they’d start kicking inactive ppl soon to make room, but it hasn’t happened yet. I believe TestFlight also expires after 90 days, so if you check back you may be able to get the accelerated updates then.
