I mean to be fair, Google is considered an ad company, they aren't going to promote things that would make them potentially lose money to themselves
it turned from a bunch of 12-18 year olds screaming "I fucked your mom last night" to a bunch of mid-late 20-30s saying "you stupid n*****" every other sentence...
I have turned off game chat in every game since modern warfare 2019
I miss the 360 era myself, but as someone who enjoys playing competitively in every game, it's hard to play unless you have a bunch of like minded individuals with you... and I even find that challenging some days
cat food juices mainly for me... sometimes the tins break through the bag and it dribbles down the bag. other stuff I tend to dump in sink drain prior, yeah, the liquid thing never made sense to me tbh

yeah if I recall that was created by someone else with LJs blessing to use the sync name/code... so it may or may not be the same to how sync by LJ would be maintained... don't think anything ever came from that though but as I don't like IOS, I haven't really followed it :/
except lemmy isn't an app, it's a platform. sync is a lemmy app.

sync will be android only, same as the reddit version I believe

there will be a separate in app purchase structure
the ultra subscription was a separate sub model from sync for reddit that was on the side to help support the 1 developer who works on the app if you want to. the model was already there and nothing has changed from reddit, so it was probably easy to leave the code in with the same features and keep it in.
you also need to realize this is a beta as well so it's not "officially" released yet. if sync for reddit is anything to go by, once LJ is content on the app it will be released in full, with additional pro / dev variants to come. but since those are considered separate apps, those won't come until later since they need to be reviewed and put on the app store... which makes sense there's only 1 variant at this time
edit: pro model won't happen due to Google play store policies on duplicate apps. one time in app purchase is coming
