I absolutely adore this game, but imo it's a terrible candidate for a remaster. The graphics were already stylized so I doubt a graphics update would make much difference. It's a puzzle game so the replayability is already low. And I can't imagine that developer commentary get people excited about buying the game again.

I wish this was successful, but I can see why this went sideways.

Esper taking a huge chunk of the field, but honestly still pretty diverse metagame. It might have something to do with the bigger card pool. I'm excited to see what comes out on top!

There are dozens of us! I think the book is enjoyable if all you're expecting is a fun but shallow ride. If it's been hyped up, it's going to be disappointing. A lot of reviews treat it like the pinnacle of the genre, which is ridiculous.

It's about being respectful. Using someone's condition they can't control as a descriptor is (at least in my opinion) disrespectful.

Wow that's impressive! I can't imagine the time and dedication it took to create this.

My take is the two UB and MH3 in the lineup are very polarizing, leading to negative perceptions overall.

I'm sure the next few days before the surgery are going to be tough emotionally for both of you. It sounds like your SO likely doesn't realize how worried they are or how much it's affecting them, but giving them a little space is a good move.

Try not to beat yourself up for getting upset - it's a perfectly normal reaction, especially in a stressful situation like this. Luckily there're a few days before the procedure so you can hopefully discuss it and be supportive of each other. This internet stranger is sending love!

It is! But it's a bit sad we have to think about it.

Wow wasn't expecting to see an Addie LaRue reference today! Who's to say that the thought of "Ralph" doesn't trigger thoughts or feelings in an individual that affects them later on today, later on this week, etc. I agree it's a beautiful sentiment.

P.S. That's probably my favorite book I've read in the last few years.

"Piracy preserves what capitalism can't be bothered to."

Love that sentence, and I agree with your points that these pieces of media are available not truly "lost." I don't hold anything against studios/publishers not wanting to invest time to make niche ports/emulations available, especially when it won't make them money.

Came here to post something similar. I'm in my 30s but can't resist going for a little "cart-ride" in the parking lot when going back to my car.
