Is there something we can do about getting Feather Wallet by default into TailsOS?

The entire reason for these being manageable without sudo permission, as a regular unprivileged user is that they don't modify the system, but only the installation in your home directory.

Yes, and therefore AppImages are great for use in TailsOS and Qubes-Whonix.

Yes I indeed ignored everything that came after when you referred to Monero as a scam.

Do you even know what XMR is, or are you a drive-by commenter?

AppImage is absolutely necessary for users of TailsOS and Qubes-Whonix.

tails to keep electrum pre installed only by default.

I still can't comprehend the TailsOS developers for this decision. They are going all the way about hiding the trails of internet packages that are sent/received to the Tails operating system. But they are literally operating on the "clearnet" when it comes to the trails of internet money bits.

That's cool. I might try nostr for that, although I still think secure scuttlebutt's design is better.

As far as Bitcoin goes, there's also coinjoin.

With whirlpool going out of biz, what coinjoin is there for btc?

LN stuff

  • Doesn't work when mempool fees are high
  • Most people are forced/nudged into using custodial wallets
  • LN was not designed to be a privacy tool. Bitcoiners tried to shoe-in that it is also a privacy tool

Monero is losing ground to LN

Where are LN darknets?

Im more worried about the gigantic toll crypto takes on energy infrastructure.

what exactly are you worried about? So long as we generate more energy (preferably via nuclear + wind + solar) who cares?
