FWIW it seems to be far simpler to get iron/gold/diamonds from shipwrecks and other structures after they added deepslate. I still explore caves now but I do far less strip mining.
I think that's intentional from the devs in response to strip mining. The current meta post-Caves and Cliffs seems to be to raid structures in the early game to build up an iron/gold/diamond stash before transitioning to the renewable resource farms in the late game.
Moopsy :3
Yeah it’s the one for homeschooled evangelicals primarily. I did British Parli/Worlds style debates in college at another private christian college (school didn’t sponsor NPDA) after spending HS doing NCFCA.
Fellow ex-ncfca comrade?
I was raised in an incredibly conservative/evangelical environment and I remember a lot changing in high school when I started trending towards libertarianism - stuff like "hey maybe gay people should be able to get married, the war on drugs is bad, and war itself sucks too!" I always kinda saw democrats as spineless idiots and that kept me from ever really becoming a "liberal" in the traditional American sense. In college I started reading more about leftist economic and social policy, which led to the "woah I've been lied to about the USSR my whole life" phase. Around that time Bernie Sanders started becoming a thing ("hey this guy is way better than all those other dems!"), but after he got ratfucked in 2016 I realized that demsocs and electoralism in general weren't going to be the answer to our global problems. I started reading more about imperialism and learning about how the West is the reason why most of the world is fucked. Started reading Marx, Lenin, Parenti, etc. and fully made the shift to communist.
Yeah for the mid-game and beyond. It's difficult getting a full trading setup without at least some renewable farms set up beforehand.
