The games and books seemed to do just fine in America lol
I was going to install CoD: Cold War from PS+ on my PS5 since I wanted to check out the campaign but I'd never buy it. Fuckin 230 GB for that shit. I lol'd a bit and moved on to something else. So ridiculous.
One of the first things I did when joining kbin was start blocking many of the meme communities. It's just not for me. Same reason I deleted my Facebook all those years ago. The ONE exception is LOTRmemes because come on
My wife loves AITA even though she's fully aware that most of them are fake. I'm sending this list to her to see if she recognizes any lol
What Remains of Edith Finch. It's not horror at all but you're the last person alive in your family, exploring your childhood home, which is a crazy house with tons of weird add-ons and secret passages, exploring how your family members died. Mental illness, insane unlucky accidents, all that. It's a really truly excellent game. It's unsettling in a way that keeps you on edge without ever being actually afraid
I still remember watching the OC back in high school and seeing them play a Playstation game with an Xbox controller. I think about it sometimes.
I decided to come home during summer break during my senior year of college. I wasn't going to but I decided I should do something besides sitting around playing video games. I got in the car, drove for 4 hours, and got a call from my best friend that he was having some people over that night. I almost didn't go because I was tired from the drive. I decided to go. I knew everyone there, including a girl I had been friends with for years but hadn't seen in awhile. We were all hanging out, me and this girl ended up hooking up that night. We've been together over 12 years, married for 6. If I had decided to stay at my apartment and play Skyrim instead of driving home, we very likely wouldn't be together. I think about it more than I should lol.
I can make my chat bubbles be whatever color I want. My brother-in-law sometimes gives me lighthearted shit for being the green bubble or whatever in the chat but like, hey man you're the one who put yourself in a walled garden, I don't see it on my end.
I never see anyone talk about Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch but it's one of my favorite games of all time. The Studio Ghibli collab makes it ooze charm.
And if it's steak especially, leave it out for a half hour to get closer to room temp before cooking.
Not a chance.
Depends what you mean by measure up. Baldur's Gate 3 is my first CRPG that I was able to stick with for more than an hour and I absolutely LOVE it, and that was before even trying co-op, which somehow made it even better. I'm hopelessly obsessed with it, to the point where I had all Sunday to myself while my wife napped off her hangover, and I opted to try to power through the rest of Final Fantasy 16, just hoping I could get to the end, so I can focus purely on BG3 with all of my gaming time. It would be nonsense to compare this game to Starfield (which I'm also very excited for) because they're such vastly different types of RPGs. I think this game sets the generational benchmark for RPG quality, but I don't think it's even going to be the highest selling RPG of the year if that's what benchmark we're using. I think for now and the foreseeable future it's certainly the benchmark for quality especially when it comes to your choices actually mattering.
