I bought premium years ago as part of Google Music family (pre yt-music) and stuck with it, it was affordable. I am more than capable of blocking the ads over the years. Other members of my family want to use YT without ads on a myriad of devices. When the price got hiked at the start of the year I was really annoyed, and probably would have dropped the service if it were just me. However my family made it pretty clear that they did not want to jump through the hoops of blocking the ads.

It's clowning on the confusing production codes of the simpsons episodes themselves, which can be a bit cryptic. The simpsons archives has an explainer

if humanity died out, our social media bots would keep arguing until the power ran out

isn't this solving a problem that doesn't really exist? I'd have thought most trans people on dating apps would be fairly up front about it... you know for safety or even just expectations management? I can't speak from experience, my dating life predates the rise of dating apps

Opt-in does not matter, if I message or email someone who has it on, my personal data has been collected without my knowledge or consent.

This shouldnt have been built in the first place, it's irresponsible

I'm slightly colour blind and have an app on my phone that can simulate my deficiency. I take a photo and it shows the views side by side. I adjust it til they look the same and then show my wife (with her stupid perfect colour vision) and she can describe the difference in what I'm seeing.

On rare occasions she says what I'm seeing looks better, so it's not all bad

They could start by developing in the open and not in some shitty discord group.

The suit details that Carano was required by Disney to meet with a representative from the LGBTQ+ group Glaad after online behaviour that was seen as anti-trans, yet she refused. She was then asked to meet with a group of LGBTQ+ Disney employees but again refused and was fired soon after.

Interesting - I'd have thought someone who clearly has a history of using steroids would be more empathetic to those who's gender doesn't match their outward appearance
