I really hope it works on Linux. When I last tried ALVR I had a few issues, but I've been wanting to give it a chance once again. More options would make the whole thing a lot easier though.

Piped always proxies. That's also why it's really unreliable every now and then. Google has already blocked some proxy servers

Pretty cool idea. The few lines of code also make it easy to rewrite in case you want to switch to wayland.
