Thanks, I'm actually not a huge Flaming lips fan, haven't listened to them that much. But the phrase captures my ethos and yoshimi battles the pink robots, pt. 1 makes me cry

Come and See and Stalker were both Mosfilm! The Human Condition trilogy actually wasn't however. I'd really recommend the works of Eisenstein, especially his later works like Ivan the Terrible, absolutely fantastic. That and the documentary about fascism, "Triumph over Violence". Harrowing stuff - but essential imo.
