conservative spaces shouldn't need moderates to balance out their toxicity and crazy when left on their own, they simply shouldn't be toxic and crazy. why do they need their hand held? it gets defederated quickly because THEY always quickly turn their spaces into pure hate, and they choose to spread that. that's on them, not us.

then post ๐ the content wont spawn itself, and it's not necessarily up to the creator to provide 100% of the content, they just filled a niche. i mod a few mags and i have never left them empty, i post a lot, but it would help if other people would participate.
if the creators are abandoned accounts tho, that is an issue. however, making an empty mag expire makes 0 sense, recreating it doesn't guarantee it will have content if no one posts, same as the first time

honestly, someone like that has already shown they would not make a good moderator, they mass banned over something so petty and small, i don't think it would be unreasonable to revoke their ability to make mags for some time (or indefinitely) and give his mags to someone else who is more mature. he already swiped up some big name mags, do we really want someone like that running popular magazines? no.
