What common grocery item(s) is it absolutely fine to buy the cheap/unbranded version of? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.world

As far as I know Hydrox isn't a generic, it was the original brand. Oreo was an imitation and came later, but store brands/generic even later

The Doughboys - a podcast where they review chain restaurants (fast food to fast casual to high end chains). The hosts (Nick Wiger and Mike Mitchell, comedians) have a love-hate relationship that makes it so fun and real. And their guests are the best.
