You can't buy CryptPad. You could maybe hire its developers, but it's open source.

or only office, or crypt pad.

If they actually cared about privacy, they would just contribute to CryptPad and host an instance.

sperm and eggs are the zip files of human beings.

We're just the decompressed versions.

There is no "know" after you die. Best to know before you die. After there is nothing.

Just make sure any sites you goto are https and you should be fine.

If you don't want them knowing what sites you go to, you could put a VPN client on your phone.

Otherwise if you have lots of data then that's all moot.

This is why I leave my work phone at work.

They could have been AI. Most of the comments in that thread looked like AI.

I don't know how they didn't notice. Reddit is a shithole full of liars, AI and fascists.

Hopefully the government sees this and builds more houses in mega cities.

Stop eating fucking birds you fucking trash people. You're gonna kill us all!

And while you're at it, stop eating/exploiting any other sentient beings.

This is what I can remember, I'm not even sure if this movie exists or if I'm just misremembering something. Its a movie where the main character (Maybe has some information someone doesn't want to get out) accidentally (or maybe on purpose by a malicious actor) gets their brain transfered to a (robot? or maybe genetically modified?) worker who's life span only lasts so long before they (genetically? mechanically?) degrade, and the main character has to find a way out of the situation kinda like find a new body is X amount of time.

I'm not sure if that's most of the story or only part of the story of the movie.

This movie has been stuck in my head for a while and I can never remember what it is. I ask y'all if this sounds familiar to any of yall.

Please let me know if you know the name of the movie this sounds like. Thank you.

EDIT: The movie was Xchange (2000). Thank you everyone for your help.

What would you do to get rich if you knew that you couldn't die but wanted to get rich fast?

Betting? Lottery? Risky jobs? What do you think would make the most money the fastest.

This petty bourgeoisie in the making complains about how he cant manufacture in America and that if he makes in china they copy "his" ip...

Is the wittle capitalists getting exploited?? Awwww so saaaddd 😢 😂

There are some caveats though. You are immortal but what this actually means is that you are unable to do anything that would probabilistically lead to your death.

So, for example, if you were more probable to die getting into a car than walking, you would choose to walk. But only if choosing to walk was more probable than the probability of you surviving after getting into a car.

It's kind of confusing, but essentially You have no choice if something is about to kill you, but if you plan far enough ahead, the probability of you choosing to do or not to do something versus the probability of your survivability can potentially win out.

So given this version of immortality, what would you plan to do to benefit yourself in some way?

I've already thought about potentially hooking up some kind of lottery Number machine to a guillotine in order to win the lottery but it turns out that the probability of you not making this machine is more likely than making the machine and surviving so you just never end up making the machine.

In order to get an idea of where I'm coming from, here's a video that explains a bit aboabout quantum immortality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTZZUjnrbF8

I was notified not too long ago that they were going to be getting rid of the property management company they were working with. This is only a month after I started renting.

I like property management companies because I don't have to deal with these type of people that I despise as well they offer SLAs/ticketing systems, in house maintenance, fast response time, after hours emergency numbers, etc, etc.

I checked here: https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/06r17#BK193 and it says that I can get a rent decrease if there is a removal of a service so I'm going to make sure they don't forget that and if they say no I'm going to the tenant board.

Hello, I'm currently looking for some audiobooks of some of Karl Marx's works.

Is there any place I can find like a single file download of Das Kapital, or any other books you would recommend.

I was able to find a copy that's read by: Malk Williams But I wasn't sure if it was any good or legit.

I tried getting it from marxist.org but all his books are broken into like a bunch of different small files.

Thank you for your help.
