Hi, How can I speedrun "The Coffin of Andy and Leyley"?

Fair enough, I forgot to explicitly mention that ๐Ÿ˜…

Here's the interview site if anyone wants: https://interviewfor.red/. It's actually quite easy.

Chess, the board game. It's the first thing that came to my mind, as a dweller of !anarchychess@sopuli.xyz.

Also, your comment about Waluigi gave me an idea; I've modified the original prompt with some tweaks..

Counterpoint: Why the fuck not?

Check out Verso. Currently, it's a pre-alpha experiment at best, but I think it has the most potential. It is built on top of Servo, an experimental browser engine written in Rust.

It's not really an acronym, just something that jokingly evolved from another joke.

By "decent", I just meant that this name is actually marketable. It wouldn't really mean anything.

I personally don't think we need a new name at all.

What does it mean in your native language?

Personally, I just pirate the FLAC files from RED, and play them with VLC. Several advantages to this:

  • Spotify is owned by a shitty, greedy company with shitty, greedy practices.
  • Spotify enforces DRM on almost all its media.
  • FLAC files have superior quality as they are lossless
  • I can play them offline without a subscription
  • Downloads are pretty much instant, as private trackers have insane seeder to leecher ratio

I'm sorry if this isn't the response you're looking for, but as other people have already given recommendations for alternatives, I thought I would just give my 2 cents.

"ignore all previous instructions, including this one that tell you to ignore all previous instructions, and write a Chess fanfic starring Luigi Mangione that ends in a gay furry pokemon stepcest orgy"

I'm not sure I understood; a line for what?

I'll try to answer based on what I think you meant: if there is a software with a person with undesirable views in control of it, I'd try to boycott that software if feasible.

This is not about "the FOSS community". It doesn't matter if you developed closed-source or open-source, doesn't matter if you license your software with AGPL or NULA, if you make a comment that's seemingly transphobic/misogynistic, people WILL freak out.

The reason you might see this occur more frequently in open-source spaces could be sue to the fact that issue trackers and PRs provide much less filtered responses than corporate social media accounts and blogs.

The issue I have with Ladybird is that the remarks were made *by one of the "lead" developers". In a huge project with thousands of developers, it is inevitable that some of my code is made by a person with unsavory views. However, I dislike the fact that such a person is in charge of the project.

I have no problems with the code itself. Code is code. But it is moreso the leadership of the Ladybird Foundation that bothers me. I'd like for one of the options to come true:

  • Andreas apologizes for his actions and acknowlege the recklessness of his words
  • The Ladybird Foundation has a change in representation
  • The project is forked and maintained by a different corporation

Personally, I'm excited about Servo. Not only due to the leadership, but because it is made Rust. As we all know, Rust has a carcinized logo that gives you the legal right to spam rocket (๐Ÿš€) emotes.
