Depends what you want out of a game. I loved XIII, XV and XVI but for different reasons. if you go into any of them expecting old-school FF gameplay you'll be disappointed, but if you want decent modern JRPGs with fairly confusing stories you might find something you'll like.
None of the old-school fans like the new games but the series has always been about trying new things.
if you're not really there for it then sure, but i got a ps5 for ff7 remake, kh3 and ff16 and i personally think I got my money's worth. loved every goddamn second.
it helped that I got p5r and expedition 33 as well, what a beaut of a bonus they were
