Then the economy is broken. It is in fact a societal problem. Money shouldn't exist and every human need should be freely offered and labor should traded for this opportunity. We wount fixes this until capitalism falls. We wount stop devaluing human life and we won't treat eachother like humans as long as "the economy" exists.

People have to live with the mistake of their past but society shouldn't not be able to take it into account. This is how we got Epstein, Jerry Sandusky, Harvey Weinstein, and Donald Trump.

You act like any state did any better for the people it ruled at the time.

Real mature to minimize the act of irversibly ruining another human life as a "mistake".

I'd love to get that kind of education. But alas as an American I'd be embarrassed to visit Vietnam as well.

Both shouldn't be in any leadership capacity. As they have failed to recognize the value of human life and they would likely do it again.

Seems quite apologetic to somebody that would lock another living person in a cage.

KTM's parent company, Pierer AG, is in deep financial trouble as it blames economic conditions for its failings. But things are so bad, its latest financial release hints its possibly looking to sell a majority stake in the company.

Revealed: officers appear to hold Michael Kenyon, 30, to hot pavement in July, causing third-degree burns

On 6 July 2024, a day when temperatures in Phoenix, Arizona, reached 114F (45.5C), Michael Kenyon was walking to his local store to buy a soda when two officers of the city’s police department stopped him.

They hastily told him he was being detained, Kenyon recalls, without clearly stating why. Two more officers arrived.

Surveillance footage from across the parking lot, which was viewed by the Guardian, shows the 30-year-old on the pavement soon after, with several officers on top of him and holding him down. Once they lift Kenyon off the ground after roughly four minutes, he appears limp.
