That's what I was thinking. Linoleum can be ugly and will cut/dent easy, but it's the cheapest to replace.
Also significant that the vast majority of solved murders are committed by someone you know. The FBI stats have <10% of solved murders being committed by strangers. It's impossible to know what percentage of unsolved murders were committed by strangers, but it's clear the odds are not in your favor if it isn't somebody the police can add to their list just by asking around.
It almost feels AI generated, but for what purpose?
What in the world was happening to the person filming? Were they trying to imitate the dog?
Incredible
I do this with my own stuff. I dug out a few hard drives that were gibberish because they were in a RAID array at one point. I put them all in a Linux machine and eventually found the right command to make them work. I definitely muttered, "I'm in..."
What a nostalgia hit. Loved that show.
There's something wrong with my eyes or my brain because I legitimately read it as Chucktingle at first. Glad I'm not the only one to make the connection.
Great rollercoaster of being positive this is satire, then doubting myself and being sure it's legitimate, then back to sure it was satire.
Fantastic job.
These artifacts from Santa Elina are roughly 27,000 years old — more than 10,000 years before scientists once thought that humans arrived in the Americas.
Very cool.
This whole thing has me thinking about the gun control episode of Bojack a lot.
The moment rich white guys felt threatened (by women in that case) guns were completely outlawed, and I think this is the closest we'll ever get to that in real life. If a few more CEOs are knocked off I could see it being discussed. If 10 or 20 more are killed I think we would actually see severe restrictions put in place.
There are no trains here, but I've never had anyone attempt to talk to me on the bus, nor have I ever seen two people talk that didn't get on together. The only exception was people panhandling at the bus stops, and I wouldn't call those conversations.
