I'm responding to an old post but what are you gonna when things are still this quiet. This seems like the busiest Sonic community here in the fediverse at least?

But I actually looked this up a little while back. Turns out Echidnas can actually grow some serious claws, which they use mostly to dig.

So I can see what they're going for / where they got the idea for Knuckles' design. They're probably legit claws.

And I seem to remember him chipping them in Sonic X, but it's not treated as an amputation or anything and later they're fine, so presumably they grow like claws / nails too.

I'm only a day in of trying to get away from this, and I'm mostly talking about Lemmy right now (but it would also work / help on Bluesky), but something that's already made a huge difference for me personally since yesterday, is separating the feeds. I woke up this morning and scrolled through content that didn't make me want to start a revolution first thing in the morning and I'm already having a pretty good day for it.

I decided to cut most news and politics out of my subscriptions, other than maybe some small communities that don't show up on 'All' on a 24 hour cycle. So from now on, my subscriptions will be only things that interest me and not enrage me. And 'All' is still there if I happen to feel like indulging in the rage for a little bit.

Also, finding a server that's more tailored to what you personally vibe with adds a 3rd option in the 'Local' tab for a feed that doesn't destroy your soul piece by piece.

So the 'Reddit' experience is still there in the 'All' tab, for everything. From rage to cool shit you haven't subscribed to yet. But you don't have to spend all day there. You can fill the other two tabs with stuff that makes you smile or learn or that aligns with your interests / career / philosophy or whatever. And spend more time there.

I was doing the same when I gave Bluesky a try, making use of different feeds for different things. Keep the news and politics in its own tab and only go there when you feel like catching up, or if you're specifically in the mood to rage against the machine.

I'm late, in my timezone I usually watch this during the day on my Friday. Sometimes I fall behind but always catch up by the WWE. But it's been a while since I've done this so.

• I think Frankie Kazarian might be my current favourite of the men's roster. He cracks me up. If he's slowly heading towards doing commentary (he's been doing guest commentary a lot) in the future, I really hope that this trophy amounts to something and he gets a run with the world championship first.

• That 5 minute Elegance segment went on for about 5 minutes longer than it needed to. Thank the gods Spitfire showed up. Jodi Threat fuckin rocks.

• Torn about Masha Slamovich vs Rosemary because I love both, but Slamovich needs a solid, dominant run and I doubt this is going Rosemary's way. But also, I am so ready for Rosemary to be champion.

• What happened to Killer Kelly? I miss her. And the weird slightly erotic, partnership / relationship thing she had going with Slamovich for a while made a lot more sense than Slamovich and Grace suddenly being BFFs out of the blue.

Edit: what's the consensus on Tessa Blanchard. I don't follow the drama and politics of wrestling but I know that she was in disgrace at one point. What's the word these days? Has she apologized for past actions and shit?

I'm sorry. I got even more carried away than I thought I would. I hope I'm not over sharing (although so what, I'm anonymous). And I hope that there isn't anything I've said here that's in any way unintentionally insulting to people that have been on this journey for longer than I. I'm still learning and finding my way.
