I don't mean "of course, my parents were Americans." I mean what do you have actually ON PAPER in your pocket or in your home that PROVES that? Do you have your parents birth certificates handy? Got their passports with you? This can be used to fuck over just about everyone in this country if they want it to, and guess what? They do.

There have been multiple points in history where stripping a pre-built for parts was cheaper than buying those parts individually. Honestly, that is probably the case more often than not because they get the parts cheaper.
For real. I know for a fact that Valve can buy hardware for less than any of us can. Its just a question of how much markup they want to slap on this, but it could easily be cheaper than any of us could build an equivalent.
Only for normal people. If you are rich or a company like this you can leverage assets for a rate lower than the rate of return on your investments and come out ahead by financing over paying cash. Rich people don't pay cash for anything.
