This package treatment usually isn't malice; the automated package sorting drops packages from one belt to another and the longest drop can be up to 12 feet (4 meters).

Always assume your package will experience such a drop when you're packing it.

I had some struggles with consciousness persisting until I learned about the cognitive shuffle technique.

So if this is you, look up cognitive shuffling. Doesn't work for everybody but worth a try.

This always attracts pedants whining "the creator said to pronounce it like jif!" and it's like, OK, A) That's an appeal to authority, one of the best known logical fallacies B) The creator of Mother's Day spent over 30 years trying to get people to stop celebrating it, but too bad, I'm still gonna wish my Mom a happy Mother's Day, you know?

This is partly true, but regulations do allow for a computer screen digital version of the basic safety display, as long as it can be demonstrated to be reliable and work without other systems like the infotainment system, and many manufacturers have implemented this.

IMO I think the answer to the OP is "it was a stylistic choice"

Oh man, I really feel this one. I miss slider phones.

If you tap to type, definitely learn the swype method, it does get close to typing speed with practice.

This one reminds me of:

  • Gummy bears contain gelatin
  • In the USA at least, gelatin is derived from bones
  • Technically, gummy bears are not boneless
