Un grand merci pour cette annonce d'importance majeure !
And to you too, good fellow!
Most often but not always, extinct forms like stem reptiles and all sometimes did really weird shit
So the thing is, like other commenters have said, you're asking metaphysics things through the prism of science, which does not work because by nature, science uses the (mostly) objective scientific method, while metaphysics is based on subjective assessments.
You have to separate the physical, material universe as being in the domain of what can be known, from the rest, which can not be, and never will. This does not mean it doesn't exist, just that it can never be studied or proved in any way, so anyone can believe what they wish about it without leaving rationality (as long as the belief does not imply things concerning the material universe)

Thank you for taking the time to go in detail and provide resources! I'll probably get it based on your advice :)
I play a lot of sci fi themed sessions, would you still recommend for this use case?
I have several suggestions, with different overall vibes, but that I think still relate to this itch.
First of all, my timewaster at the moment is Balatro. Not original, but fills the niche of a game you can hop on and off as needed, no need for quick reflexes, but still a sense of having to play and engage, with long term progression.
There was a time when Potion craft was the scratcher of this cozy niche. Very cool artstyle and music, no time constraints gameplay, and again a meaningful sense of progression with a very low bar for entry.
Perhaps not the best fit for your question, but I'll still say it so you can try, Return of the obra dinn. It's not cosy, but fits the criteria of something you can play with rather minimal "gamer experience" while enjoying it to the fullest. It's an incredible investigation game where you uncover a superb and compelling story, at your own pace. Again, very characteristic artstyle, and one of my all time favorite music.
It would be a crime to answer a cozy game suggestion without mentioning Stardew Valley, however I think it's going a bit against the non-gamer thing. Still, very nice game!
Another suggestion could be Powerwash simulator, very "brains off" kind of gameplay, very simple even for a non gamer (actually tried with a very not gamer family member), and sooo satisfying!
You may also like things like Poly bridge and other puzzle games, but I haven't really played these so I can't personally say.
I hope you find at least one thing you like here, and I'll add some if I think of more
This community is related to basically anything negative regarding cars. As such road rage is very much qualified, as it's a very much car-induced problem, both directly (as in people in cars are implicated) and more indirectly (as in car-first infrastructure is bad for everybody involved, including cars, and pushes for this sort of things to keep happening)
It should, but the point I think you're missing is that, even in this VERY light version purposefully calculated so that those ultra rich households still increase in wealth with the tax, just a little slower, it was heavily criticized in virtually every media, and still was not voted by the lawmakers. Something more drastic than this as you and a lot suggest would not even have a chance at being discussed on...
Because, as this article that you keep linking says, they already made bank with the broken product in the first place. They could have just taken the money and closed the studio, or at least rebranding and going for the same trick again and again, as so many other actually do. They did not do that, they chose to do the opposite, which was an incredibly bold decision at the time.
You also keep linking another article showing how they made so much money recently, like in 2022, but you forget that this is now, with hindsight. In 2016 just after release, it was more dangerous for them to keep working on a game nobody trusted anymore.
And for the record, I bought NMS in 2022, and liked it okay-ish. It's far from the best game ever, but arguing like you do that "they only added stuff they said would be in the game in the first place" is clearly fallacious.
