From 2018, I have been using fake emails for signup on websites that I am sure I wouldn't be using again.
In rare occasion that I do keep using the website, I change it to one of my 'useful' mails. This has kept so much spam at bay for me.

I remember seeing a GitHub Issue regarding this year or two ago. IDK what happened after that since they moved to BugZilla.

Nice to see FF doing the work and opening doors to so many extensions. The few things I have encountered on FF that are still a major PITA for me:
- Sometimes tabs gets corrupted in sense that they just wont load any data and show data of the tab that was shown previously. navigating to other domain and stuff wont work. (Encountered it in Private mode)
- Downloads may sometimes stop in middle.
- I feel the app consumes more battery

I would also recommend to use CCStopper and use the Add to Hosts option to further block out any attempts to check for genuine.
Adobe PDF is also good if you know where to get it for free. I esp. rely on the editing feature of Adobe PDF. Has saved me so much hassle to edit PDF files cleanly.

I haven't encountered such a thing yet (been using for 5 months).
There are lot of methods to bypass those checks even now, and often many ROMs do this by default. (LineageOS doesn't do that afaik)
I use both Firefox and Cromite. FF is my default browser and I use cromite for stuff that doesn't work/refuses to work well with FF.
