Yup. See them parroting USB C as if some kind of new shit. Lmao, Type C has been on Android for years and Android Manufacturers have long stopped it as some Marketing feature.

You could grab the ISO and use ventoy. No need to format USBs again and again. Can store multiple ISOs and whatnot.

I'm pretty sure Android doesn't do this. The encryption is purely local, so you cannot somehow recover the device if you have the Google account.

IMO that logic is really absurd. If you can disable it so that it doesn't bother you, nor steal your data, then it's completely fine. They are giving you the option to opt-out.
