Thanks! Unfortunately, eBay has issues shipping to Vietnam and I'd rather not risk it. I wish I could find a reputable seller of used cameras here but I can't.

That was an amazing read, thank you. I've saved all your recommendations into my Keep. ๐Ÿ™‚

Guess I'll be going with the R50 as soon as I'm ready (I'm still finishing up my research by reading more Greta comments like yours and looking at websites like cameradecision.com). My concern in Vietnam is Asia's obsession with making fake things of everything and I'm afraid that the camera I'd buy might actually NOT be the R50 as it'd say in the package. Are there any ways to absolutely guarantee the insides of a camera belong to R50? Just to make sure.

Thank you for the advice. There are a few options in that price range, including Nikon and Fujifilm. Would you say the R50 still stands out?

I'm in the price range of Canon EOS R50 and heavily considering it versus other similarly priced and new models. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks, that's a cool website!

In your personal view, is there anything that beats the R50 at the price point?

I'm almost ready to jump the fence and get Canon EOS R50 with its kit lens. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks a lot. What would you recommend to protect my camera in that case? Should I always avoid letting direct sunlight into the lens? But then how can I take landscape photos during the day?

Oh I'm the OP ๐Ÿ˜… in where I live it seems that R50 is within my budget (I just pray to god these are not fake cameras somehow as Asia is obsessed with faking products). What do you think about it? Anything to consider?

I'm also considering getting it soon but not sure if Canon 6D (or some Sony camera) would be better. Is that better overall? Currently relying on advice from friendly strangers and some ChatGPT for research.

Thanks! That's exactly why I came here asking. So in your view it's superior pretty much in every way?

Thanks! Thoughts on Canon EOS R50?

Can strong direct sunlight damage a camera or lenses somehow?

Seems like Canon EOS R50 is a possibility for me here. Is it a good option? With what lens?

No size or weight limits. Nocturnal adventures is what I'm interested in on top of regular photography so that's a consideration.

Landscapes, macro close-up, portraits of people. Nothing else really.

Would Canon EOS R50 be a much better choice or just marginally better?

I'm suffering from anxiety-related panic attacks and looking to have 1on1 video sessions with a therapist to relieve stress. Ideally available on demand but I'm open to try any good therapy at this point.

Ive got the Spotify premium subscription and want to be able to play specific podcast episodes via my smartwatch so I need a way to get the audio in a simple format, it doesn't have to be high quality.

Looking to develop my skills in order to get a foot in the door on a new career path but unsure where exactly to proceed, so would appreciate a good counselor suggestions if you've had a positive experience with them. Ideally someone who specializes in the state of things globally, not just in America.

Google Assistant refuses to work well with this phone so I'm looking for good, free alternatives.

By employed I mean get a job in the industry either offline or online. Ideally something that would highly likely remain in-demand in the near future.

I've got the Chinese version of the phone and can't for the life of me find a way to get rid of this while DND is on. I've tried using the hidden settings apps as well to no avail.

Probably too far-fetched, but curious anyway since this would make things a lot easier.

Recently got a modded Switch with a chip and it's got custom software with this Tinfoil app on it, and I was wondering if it could be possible to somehow stream to Twitch/YouTube directly, without a capture card, using an app that would work only with a modded version of the console.

I plan to play in the docked mode.

I know there are Quest 2/PC crossplay, asymmetrical games, but what about Quest 2/Switch? I mean where one person would be playing a game on Switch and the other the same one on Quest 2, together.

I'm planning to go on a long trip around the country where speed limits are ridiculously low, even on highways, and that's all the road police care about (even the slightest of speed-limit infringements) and was wondering if a radar/speeding-camera detector would be worth it.

Can't use Waze or anything like that because these apps don't have enough data on Southeast Asia (Vietnam specifically).

If they are at all reliable, how much should I expect to spend on the one that wouldn't get me in trouble?

Do they work as well at night as during the day?

And is there anything else I should know about them?

I need one for general purposes only, NOT for gaming, so I don't really care about gaming-related features.

I'm going to buy it in Asia, as that's where I live (Vietnam specifically), and would appreciate any advice. ๐Ÿ™‚
