Both e/os and graphene are android

"root detection" is not actually detecting root as that is very difficult it's detecting an unlocked bootloader or modified software that didn't come on your phone(like a custom rom such as graphene os)

Not with the current trump administration. They can do whatever they want

[–] Stez827@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

Honestly dude she just needs to be more careful like this is a easy thing to not do

This is a different sideloading. The sideloading you are talking about is installing apks this is where you download a software update zip file and then sideload the update to the device to either upgrade or downgrade the os. This also has nothing to do with Google as their phones still have this capability

Yea kinda but look at apple. There has never been any freedom to do what you want with their phones and people have loved them. While you and I as enthusiasts may move to another platform because of stuff like this most people don't even know about it.

In this case though the 9a is the exact same as the 10a except the 10a has a slightly higher brightness screen and you can get a refurbished excellent 9a for $160 less than a 10a

[–] Stez827@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 months ago

It will probably be faster because it is essentially the same device as the 9a the only differences that might affect software are that the screen has a slightly higher brightness and it has slightly higher charging speed. Everything else is the same even the soc

So that's not true like every other "new" (since the late 2000s at least) car there is a tow hook in the truck that screws in somewhere behind a plastic flap on the bumper. Tow truck drivers have had decades to learn but they refuse to listen. I have had a lot of experience being towed(grew up and still have older cars) and when I tell them where to hook up it's a 20-30 minute conversation for me to try and convince them to not absolutely destroy my suspension because I don't want to spend my time changing working parts and aligning a car I have already aligned. Sometimes that conversation doesn't work and I just have to have them leave and call AAA again and hope someone else comes.

This is not the fault of the manufacturers in any case it is the fault of the tow truck drivers not educating themselves

Hey everyone, I am currently in the market for a tablet. My requirements are that it has pen support(either proprietary or usi I don't care), an unlockable bootloader, and a fairly powerful snapdragon processor (preferably 8 gen 3 or 8 elite or something). I would like it to be around 10 inches closer to 9 would be better. I don't know if that's possible though. If anyone has any ideas then that would be extremely helpful.

Edit: I forgot to say what I would use it for lol. I would mainly be using it for note taking since I'm in college but I might also do some switch or PC emulation on it as well.
