How are they too different to be compared. Genuinely asking. As far as I can tell they aren't too far apart considering they have very similar outcomes in terms of elections. One party stays in power for all of eternity

Yeah that's still insane. A different tire size even if it's not meant for your car is not going to make the car drive worse unless it is much much smaller or much much larger

This guy is not actually saying he doesn't want to pay into social security he is pointing out how dumb of an argument it is "I don't use it therefore I shouldn't have to pay into it". Although even if he is complaining about it it's valid because until now it's been something that you could pretty much count on for getting after you retire. I would love to go for a Samsung tablet but my only isssue is the locked bootloader. Which I wouldn't care about if I liked the android skin but for some reason I just can't get behind anything other than aosp or aosp adjacent. Also with the upcoming restrictions on side loading I am thinking rooting is going to be a necessity.

It is only getting security patches until 2028. Honestly that doesn't matter much though because of the strong custom ROM support. It's underpowered for pretty much anything and everything. Any heavier emulation will struggle and I could disregard that but when you can get a OnePlus pad 2 for a similar price and you get an soc that is an integer factor faster it's just not a good option.

Only issue is that would only get about another year of updates and it was underpowered at the time and even moreso now
