Another personal favorite. What solidified it for me was that it sort of got the same treatment as the battle themes. An extra loop with a new segment that elevates the mood of the song.

You're right, he was hired as the composer for the TAG DLCs, not sure if he returned for Doom The Dark Ages tho

On the other post I said, it was arguably the best first stratum theme in the series. This version just further cements that for me. Between this and the EO3 Battle theme being remade, made the fandom feel like we were getting a remake of EO3. I still to see that remake one day.

Literally first dungeon. I remember I had a partner who said this was among the more romantic songs she's found in gaming. If you feel the same, I'd love to see your take on it.
