Isn’t SteamOS open source since it is Linux based (GPL) with the proprietary Steam client on top?

One question. If they know those are minors and that they know that the pictures are nudes, why the hell don’t they just ban the accounts that try to send nudes to minors? Also who the hell thinks it is a good idea to send nudes to Meta?

Apparently this is done to block browsers like opera to change the default browser without user consent, but I think this just makes it more complicated to change the default browser. Maybe they’ll add a pop up if an application tries to change it, allowing users to accept, but I don’t think that’s likely

Why use Ares? (ares-emu.net)

I saw this Project on Flathub and tried it. It works well enough and I like that its ready to go out of the box without needing to install cores like Retroarch. The UI is different from Retroarch, but is there any big advantage? Does anybody use it? And why?

I’m no expert, but would CC BY-SA do the trick?

“Bro, I’ll trade your food for this fancy piece of paper”

“What can I do with it”

“Trade it for more food with a bigger fool than you”

“I’m in”

(Not saying that you’re wrong, just your argument is stupid)

That heavily depends. Brave may have better advice/tracker blocking by default, but they send more telemetry. Them being an advertising company also doesn’t speak for them. Brave is a decent browser and on IOS/IPadOS a good option for open source + Adblock, but max privacy would be reconfigured Firefox or Librewolf.

I don’t hate Ubuntu, it used to be my favorite distro and I haven’t found anything that really replaces it. I hate Canonical for destroying my favorite distro

The issues are more being worse than flatpak in most ways: Proprietary, bigger, slower, no support for external repos
