You are 100% correct. But..

For me, I don't have the time to think globally.

I'm an 18 year old Asian male teenager - Middle Class Family.

  • I need to make money - help my parents financially hoping to retire them earlier. These are the closest people I can help. My loved ones

  • I have to stay in shape, fit and healthy (for the work I'm in)

  • Trying to work on my business for passive income.

  • Dealing with personal stress, issues and finances. (I'm in physcotherapy)

Do you still think as an individual, I have enough energy left to think about stuff that won't help me and my family.

You say that you used to think like me. That does not mean you're better or worse than me. It just means our priorities as individuals are different.

Nothing. I'm pointing out the similarities not just india and middle east, Asian countries but literally every other developing country. This isn't just 1 or 2.

Right now. I no longer have the energy to do what you say. The only thing I CAN do as individual is focus on my self.

I care about others, I also donate to charities, i care about.

Idk what you mean by "hole i built", it's not that serious as you are taking it to be.

I can't change your opinion about me (if you think, I'm evil) no matter how much I scream and yell. Everyone else sticks to their own positions in life, you and I are no different. It's hard to change someone else or make a difference without influence/power.

That's why its better to try and spend energy and time to create the life you want to live. Maybe then something can change and you may have the power to influence a small community/people.

Funny no-one on Lemmy mentions the middle east.

[-] Riderzz@lemmy.world 0 points 9 months ago

Wtf do you think middle eastern countries are doing then?

I use fake profiles so they can't tell. You won't believe facebook and instagram and it does feel good screwing them. I leak this information to their wife btw and report to police.

But you have point. I am thinking of stopping. Thanks πŸ‘

The leftists need to realise that the average person is left with no choice but to capitalise. 😈 Unemployment rising, inflation increasing. Live in the UK and you'll see what I mean. πŸ‘

100% agree. Modern day society tells Men to actively express their emotions and feelings without actually providing good, logical advice that helps improves Mens lives and get them out of their depressive states.

Instead of teaching Men to observe and regulate their emotions to become better and find purpose. Now society is encouraging to trap them in an emotional cycle where we need to be dependent on people.

And still society wonders why so many Men are radicalised by gurus like Tate, which is also no good as it comes with mysoginistic opinions and same old conservative beliefs, how Women should be treated.

However, whether people like Tate or not. He definetly has impacted Men and lit a fire underneath. Maybe improved individual lives. After all, Tate saw a weakness in society (Men depression and suicide) and took advantage of it for his own personal gains.

What society needs now is actual Male Role Models. This is where ancient greek philosophy Stoism can be one of the useful solutions to this issue, which should be taught in education systems.

I am aware of the recent changes in the supreme court, LGBT and stuff happened in the U.S but everyone around the world is pissed even if doesn't affect them. Why?

Just generally on social media such as YT, Reddit, Twitch. People are so angry about everything. Both the left and right have lost their minds, it's like polarizing echochambers.

I'm just tired of this. Thankfully, these social platforms are dying which makes me happy.

I just hope Lemmy doesn't go political in the future. For now, I love it because it's nostalgia to the old internet. Trolls, memes, fun. This is it.

Although, I believe that the real average people are not like this irl.
