Tried turning stuff on, then off, then reset to default. Nothing.

Nothing, except function keys for volume etc. and the calculator keys work when I’m logged in. I can log out and write my password normally.

I can get to a console from the login screen, which tells me to login. But I get incorrect credentials even though they are correct.

Already checked the i put and that looks to be right. No slow keys enabled in settings and no response holding down keys for up to 15 seconds.

My keyboard can both use a dongle and BT. But I can’t find it on BT. Other keyboard is the same model, which isn’t ideal but it was worth testing out.

Also, mouse still works. And I’m logged into here on my browser so I can copy commands and stuff.

Hahahahahhahaha.

This community has been mind-blowingly helpful every single step of the way so far. At this point I cannot see myself going back to windows. Other than the few things I use that won’t work obviously.

Does this work for games that I have in the EA App and Ubisoft-thingy too?

Oh, I misunderstood completely what Wine Manager actually is it seems like. Though that was just a configure tool for Wine.

I’ll have a look. I like Heroic’s interface WAY more than Lutris

Edit: Would you look at that, if I only actually looked in that menu I would have tried it already. Giving it a go now

He said what now?

They’re not relevant to me specifically, that would mean Qwant would need to collect data. But they’re relevant to the thing I’m searching, sort of.

Google ads were scary specific before I degoogled myself almost completely.

Yeah, I find it more varied and there’s less ads. Ads are still there though, but they’ve been relevant to what I’m searching for so far.

Qwant has been decent for me. Try it out and see how it goes

Played a few missions after installing Linux. Works fine with Proton Hotfix enabled in Steam. Honestly feels like it has less stutters too.

I’ll look into this too. I’ve had this issue with TibSun for years but the unofficial patch from cncnet usually fixed it.

A lot of the stuff I come across in Linux makes more sense than in Windows honestly. It’s just completely different and that makes it hard when you’re used to messing with .exe files, .dll files and regedits.
