Ah thank you (and thanks for the quick response!)! That indeed fixed it and it explains why it still works on my account on the other instance.

So this is the Pluto of the internet?

To be honest, despite the smaller community, I feel more at home in the Fediverse than ever I did in those big, bloated, commercial communities.

Ah yes ours just gives a notification when it's ready. Plus the display will always show how much time is left and it'll show up in the app as well. If its not dry yet it'll adjust the timer but it always gives an estimate on when it should be finished (time left as well as the expected time it will be finished).

I can hear the tune from the other room, but I like the notification on my phone as a bonus!

I like our new Samsung dryer as it plays a tune when it's done plus I get a notification on my phone. When our washing machine eventually breaks I want one that has similar features so it's easier to keep track.

People who claim having ADHD has benefits or is a super power are just saying it to make it sound less bad. The reality is that ADHD sucks. It's not impossible to deal with most of the time once you learn more about yourself and how your ADHD impacts you and what can help you manage the symptoms. Every individual is different. And sometimes we just have to accept that we mess up and that, although we are responsible for those mess ups and we have to work extra hard to blend in and try not to mess up too badly, it's also a handicap that we didn't ask for.

I don't get why people say they have certain positive traits thanks to their ADHD. Why can't it be because they themselves, as people, are good at something? Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and every individual is unique. ADHD makes things more difficult, but not impossible. We just have to work with what we have and all we can do is try to find ways to get what we want in a way that works for us.

Okay, that's good to know. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure it does because whenever I put points in some of my combat skills I definitely saw the numbers in my inventory increase as well.

However, I do want to add that I use the inventory mod and I have used it since I started so I'm not sure if it's the mod or if the vanilla game does this as well.

I never understood why people liked Notepad++ so much. I always just used Notepad for simple text file editing and quick notes so I didn't see the point.

But I recently switched to POP!_OS and the text editor has lots of features Notepad doesn't have (such as line numbers, indentation, and I can select the (programming) language I am writing the document in) and I found myself really liking these features.

No, but only because when I try to it gives me a blank screen and no option to actually make the payment. Once that's been fixed I'll definitely pay like I did for Boost for Reddit!

I do the same. My husband calls me a 'game hopper' as I move from game to game and rarely finish one. I mean, I do usually get back to them. Eventually. But if it's a game with a story it's going to be hard to get back into it after so many weeks or months. Which means that it seems more fun to start over... meaning that I tend to stop playing around the same point. So yeah, it's hard to finish a game. :D

I mean, I really do want to 'be able to' finish games (I mean yeah I can...it's just hard haha), but on the other hand, if I got what I wanted out of it, it's not a waste of time or money. Plus I'm getting to experience a lot of different games instead of a select number of games, so it's not that bad. :)

I'm the same with books. I'm finding it very hard to finish a book, but what does help is using a read tracker app (the one I use is actually called ReadTracker. It's on Android) to track my progress. Basically I can just start a timer when I start reading and when I'm done I stop the timer, log my progress and the app will give me an estimate on how long it would take me to finish the book (based on my past progress). This is nice, because knowing that it I keep going I'll finish the book in 3 hours feels more doable than not knowing it at all. Plus I really like graphs and statistics and these kinds of apps give me that as well.

Does that mean that it I were to start playing again I wouldn't have my unlocked skins form OW1?

I have dresses and skirts but rarely wear them because they don't feel comfy for me at all. I have to pay extra attention to how I sit and walk and that adds extra stress to my day for me. I do like to wear something loose when I'm home, though, and wish I could wear that outside more often because it's much more comfy than tight, neat clothes.
