Even if you do not provide a real fingerprint from your browser if you allow it to collect so many information it's still able to uniquely identify you because noone is going to have all those info the same as you

You can use powerDeleteSuite to delete everything from your reddit account

So basically the worst from reddit (controlled, monetized, monitored) and the worst of lemmy (server instance handling and costs) lmao

Good luck with that

Why is he saying he would like to see a federated approach?

With federation there is no monetization, no centralized analytics, no centralized control over content. All things meta strives for

Would you consider samsung wallet big tech?

They are much smaller than google (user base wise)

I am not entirely sure it can be installed on non Samsung phones and non stock roms

Wow such a toxic mechanism should be banned, if I was the small company i would literally perma-call their offices and spam emails all day until payment is sent

I would argue 50% payment upfront and 50% on delivery could be somewhat of a solution, worst case scenario they don't pay on delivery and you wait for half payment

How does it work with the current api changes? Lmao

How has a self hosted imap been treating you?

I heard some pretty brutal stories, like big email providers just refusing emails from self hosted servers

I think this is because YouTube pushed so much its shorts (tiktok knockoff) but they're not as profitable. My guesstimate is that at least 70% of traffic is in shorts now so longer content is rarely played along with longer ads

If you are on android there is vimusic which is a completely free music streaming app that works through YouTube music apis so you will have every single song you already listen to

Right! I thought I was the only dumbass that found tweet structure extremely unintuitive and difficult to understand who was talking to whom

I used 1password for over two years and switched to bitwarden 1 year ago

Easy transition, however bitwarden is not as feature rich. There are a couple things I miss like vaults and items like database credentials or ftp and so on. The mobile android extension is not as good at picking up login forms

I will still use it rather than 1password for it being free and open-source
