There was a place near where I used to live that did a wicked ghost pepper curry, when I lived there I ate it at least once a week because it was fucking delicious.

I know you're joking but if it's any consolation any padlocks you own can probably be opened by hitting them on the side.

But yeah as has been mentioned, timpson actively hire those that have been in prison and train them up. He's definitely rehabilitation focused rather than punishment focused, which is great to see.

Looking at their own site, it's made in webflow (advertised as "make a website with no code"). It's a GUI, there's no actual web development happening here. Fucking joke that this cost 100k, the business license for webflow is ~£40 a month, though they could have got away with making this site on a basic license.

There's no tech bros in the Tory party really, they clearly don't understand tech at all, it's why we keep getting shafted when they give out all our money and get nothing back.

Ban facts that I don't like. Then ban the ability to know that things can be banned. Problem solved. America, land of the free.

Think you mean grift, this ponce has never done a hard day's work in his life.

[-] OrlandoDoom@feddit.uk 14 points 2 months ago

It's a bumhole joke.

Deserved. How many elections has he already lost? He needs to get in the sea already.

The party's official position is that it supports transgender people and backs making it easier to change legal sex via self-determination.

But there are long-running tensions with members who hold gender-critical beliefs, which includes that a person's sex cannot be changed.

They mean gender right? Who in this is confusing sex and gender again? Is it the green party or the BBC or both, I literally cannot tell after reading this.

The description of the comic didn't sound anti-semetic, unless there's some anti semetic trope that I'm unaware of. Being against the state of Israel, apartheid, ethno-states and genetic cleansing of Palestinians isn't anti-semetic. Self surgery with boxing gloves actually seems rather apt imagery.

There's no mention of past anti-semetism in the article either as far as I can see, something about Tories which I don't quite understand the reference, nose rings? Is that a trope I don't understand?

Help me out here.
