It was pretty genius. No one wants to see 50 pics of the same person looking exactly the same.
Irish pirate turned samurai as the main character.
I wonder if that's based on the real life William Adams (John Blackthorn from Shogun) or based on another real-world figure or just made up.
Let’s not pretend historical accuracy or Asian representation is the problem
Yeah, I'm expecting a much different issue as you noted. But the article takes a different angle and is defending the choice and saying that it's not an issue not to have an asian samurai as the main character. And that asian people need more diverse representation. I assume because the writer didn't want to address the more obvious expected outcry or felt knowledgeable enough.
I swear if the protagonist is Tom Cruise...
Subtitled Shadows, it follows dual protagonists – a ninja named Naoe and a samurai based on the historical Black samurai Yasuke.
Oh that's cool. I don't think I've seen much media focus on this figure.
The main grievance I have as an Asian American in games in regards to representation isn’t the lack of it — as evidenced by the Wikipedia page full of Asian fighters and ninjas and samurais — but rather is the lack of diversity therein.
Yeah, that makes sense. Type-casting, essentially. It's not really representation if it's so pigeon-holed.
Wow. They make nothing for professional athletes.
A protogen? They have or are like digital masks.
Also same.
This person needs to hire a cook and get a sex doll. Actually scratch that, door dash. He's way too fucked to interact with other humans. I feel bad for anyone in his life.
I often have a lot of time where nothing needs doing and there's no meetings. The idea you always have to be working and creating is dumb as it means you always overwork everyone and miss targets. It's better to have people standing by a % of the time than to be unable to perform when needed. It's the entire concept of IT as well.
Not all work. Just work you have to do to not starve. We have enough resources to provide a basic living for everyone. We can then use work as an incentive for more luxuries and encourage people to explore the types of work they want to do. Like creative endeavors. Pay more incentive for the work people dislike doing but is still necessary. We'll figure out what work is actually necessary and what is just spinning wheels.
Blue collar vs white collar. It's a false conflict as they're both working class. They should be training up against King Koopa!
Sun and Moon both influence the tides strongly.

Trump and the GOP just straight tell everyone their stupid-evil plans. They aren't going to give up power this time. They tried not to in 2021 but were stymied. If Trump wins this year, America won't ever have another real election. Trump will serve until he dies and then they'll appoint one of his kids or DeSantis President in "emergency powers" or some bullshit and that'll be forever.
