Remnant 2 is sweet!

If it's all fine - Idk why you're concerned with defending Biden's gaffs.

I just gave up on Manjaro. It may have been hardware related though, hopefully you have better luck.

I am having a great time with openSUSE LEAP tho. I've had a much easier time getting EVERYTHING to work. If you run into more problems, give it a try!

It is!

Some of these concepts are a little tricky to relay via text, but here's a video that runs through the basics!

Essentially a one inch strap between two trees (or strong posts), tightened in a specific way with caribbeaners, so that it holds tension - and you walk on it! Or sit, jump, bounce, etc. it's like a bouncy tight rope (usually closer to the ground) There's a little hurdle to get over while you develop your stabilizing muscles, but very enjoyable once you can stay on the line! (Which takes just a few hours of practice for most)

I recommend YouTube for the knots/tightening. Everything can be bought at REI or on Amazon ( ~60' 1" tubular webbing + 4 standard climbing Caribbeaners)

If you buy some extra webbing, you can run a 'training wheels' line a few feet above your head and use it to keep yourself on the line until you can manage without.

Start low, and practice looking in front of you rather than at your feet. Good luck!

Neat! Just learned quite a bit from his videos

Got back on the slack line!

It's fun, ecellent for balance and overall health, great solo, and a setup runs about $60.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hobby!

I just gave up on Manjaro. It kept giving me intermittent Wi-Fi, driver, and update issues which almost nuked my interview for the job I have today (having technical issues during your tech job interview isn't a great look) . I don't mind an occasional issue or doing some research, but it felt a little too regular w Manjaro.

(Alien M18, for context)

So now I'm on openSUSE LEAP, and have had a much smoother experience overall. Shit just works. The only change I'd consider atm is switching to tumbleweed.****

Also I've got an old laptop running Ubuntu as a media server. It works well

I hear this every single election.

Dems - "democracy is at stake! THIS IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN YOUR LIFE"

Me - *Holds nose and votes for the lesser evil"

Dems - "thanks guys that was close" Proceeds to sit around with a thumb in their collective asshole for 4 years.

...

Dems - "Democracy is at stake! REALLY guys - THIS is the most important election ever!"

It's fucking exhausting. If the Dems really wanted people to come out and vote, they would spend less time begging for our votes, and more time representing our collective interests.

Praying they bring back different backgrounds for different desktops. 🤞🤞

Is it though?

(From Bard) "The Social Security trust funds are projected to run out of money by 2034. This means that the Social Security administration will only be able to pay out 77% of a retiree's full benefits."

Which I get isn't exactly the same as what OP is claiming, but it is still pretty concerning for those of us not close to retirement age

Anecdotally: i got Google VPN free w my Google one sub, used it to pirate some movies. still got a warning from Comcast (for one of the star wars movies, iirc).

Went right back to Mullvlad. Speeds were better anyway.
