I’m also hoping to live independently with my older brother in our own house; we’ll be pooling our money together in that case.

And maybe do my transition (HRT) in the meantime, though I’m not sure exactly when.

Work is, again, full-time. 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST.

Oh, that's a good way to think of it!

I sometimes feel like "I can't do it" because, say, I'm Autistic or disabled.

But honestly, yeah, it's true, I can do it; I know better, of course, at least I hope I do.

Thanks.

Yeah, it's true that they're providing training.

They didn't do that at the seven retail jobs I worked at, ever.

I'm starting work tomorrow.

I'm not anti-work, and at the very least, I prefer to have an income.

But goddamn, I'm a bit nervous, ngl...

[–] Makan@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 1 week ago

Yeah, I'm hoping so

hrm

I just don't like this. God, at times I feel powerful but then I feel powerless.

And the worst part is?

I'm constrained by mundane things in my life, like family and other people.

It's them stopping me. I wish saying so didn't make you sound spoiled, but that's how I feel.

Ocarina of Time remake incoming (and probably by extension a Majora's Mask remake).

They're probably going to somehow tie it to BOTW and TOTK by retconing some stuff. Nobody @ me, but I totally see that happening. Rauru will transform into his TOTK self in the Temple of Light, if they decide to put that scrapped temple in there.

Your thoughts?

Well, that's what I think, anyway.

But yes, Nintendo is teasing a Zelda / LEGO collaboration and I suspect that this is just part of a marketing campaign for the new rumored (but not confirmed!) Ocarina of Time remake.

Oh God

Just make a The Legend of Zelda game that's a sequel to both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Nintendo! Do it, you cowards!

Your thoughts?

Ugh, I wish I could make a list of my sensory stims or the stimuli that gets me going, but it's so hyper-specific and doesn't seem to be able to be done on a whim.

Certain sounds are heard and then never heard again.

It is what it is.

Do you all have stims that you can do on a whim or listen to on repeat?

No clear morality too.

Even the bad guys are stand-ins now for "losers" of society and usually their backstory is that they were someone "down on their luck" and rejected by society and I guess that makes them evil later on.

I realize that I have dark thoughts or pessimistic or cynical attitudes at time, maybe to an extreme degree in some instances.

I need something with more hope and less "moral greyness" at this point; it just seems that it's clouding my mind and I'm trying to recover from a depression and disthymia.

Another Astrum, another banger.

What to you think? Could we find another Earth-like planet within our lifetime? Or any life later at all? Maybe with in a far-off exoplanet or even within the Sol System (out solar system)? Well, we can only hope. I certainly have a feeling that we may.
