This makes me feel old because I think of the days when there was a chunky manual inside with controls, maps, and lore.

I feel like this weekend was the final nail in Checo's coffin. I've felt for a while that we would see Danny Ric back in a Red Bull next year and now I am convinced.

There are a lot of SUV type vehicles on the road in the UK, it's frustrating was most people do not need that kind of car.

People talking about phones on Lemmy don't represent the average user though. Most people just don't care about headphone jacks, SD cards, etc. These complaints are made nearly exclusively by enthusiasts who don't make up enough of the potential sales to be pandered to.

I'm not saying it's wrong to complain btw.

The £50bn in debt Vs £60bn in dividends since privatisation says otherwise.

The article seems to have misquoted his tweet that doesn't mention anything about gambling.

I am very intrigued to see how many games will immediately appear on Gamepass.

I read something that suggested the teams can't actually stop Andretti from competing. But they can stipulate that they receive no TV coverage or something equally as bonkers.

Maybe people are finally realising that the Tories can't legitimately blame the previous Labour government anymore, they've been using that move for too long now.

I would have liked to have finished the first mission but the game crashes after roughly 5 minutes every time I try to play. Sort it out Bethesda.

Did you do a race this weekend? How did it go?

I ran the Wilne 10k. First proper run with my new Kinvara 14 shoes. Did it in 53:17, not amazing in the grand scheme of things but I was really happy with it. 55 minute pace for the first 5k and then a negative split for the second 5k 😁 Overtook loads of people in the final lap which always feels great.

He'll relax when he has retired. While you're actively racing if you're going to be the best you have to believe deep down that you are the best. Of course he's not going to say that he's had easier teammates than Max even if it were true.

Hi all, I thought it would be fun to talk about what running events people have coming up in the final months of the year.

I've got a local 10k race (Wilne 10K) coming up this Sunday. I've bought some new Kinvara 14 to race in, as I think my Triumph 20 are a bit heavy for a race day. I'm not fast but I do enjoy the occasional event. I did this run in 52:41 last year which I was really happy with. If I can be around that again I'll be chuffed, although I feel like I'm a bit slower than I was last year.

My other upcoming event is the Equinox 24 hour event around Belvoir Castle in the UK. It's a 10k lap relay event. Doing it with a buddy and I'm really looking forward to it. It's a beautiful course and the whole event has a great atmosphere. I did 4 laps last year, I'm hoping to slow down a little but do a couple more laps this year. The night time laps are the highlight, as I don't often run in the pitch black with a headtorch.

This will massively depend on what country you're in. It's pretty safe to eat raw egg in a lot of places.
