Update: At least 4 dead, 4 injured. 80 rescued uninjured.

🇺🇦 We see that the actions of the Unmanned Systems Forces attract the attention of both domestic and foreign information resources.

The SBS command confirms the use of a long-range UAV capable of carrying a 250-kilogram bomb and covering a distance of up to 2,000 km with the possibility of return. This is a unique development that changes the rules of the battlefield.

Russian propaganda constantly claims to have "shot down" such planes, but explosions at military-industrial complex facilities, refineries, and ammunition depots speak otherwise. Operators of the 14th Separate UAV Regiment of the SBS have been striking behind enemy lines for over a year, covering hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of kilometers. There have been dozens of such missions, and there will be more.

‼️ We also ask media representatives to use information from our official sources. Sometimes silence is needed for success: most operations of the Unmanned Systems Forces are not subject to public coverage, but they deliver critical strikes on strategic objects of the enemy's military infrastructure.

🇺🇦 SBS: One step ahead!

Google it. I don't provide links to Russian propagandists.

Fighterbomber and Russian Aviation.

The seeker on the missile can track targets up to 40° off the missile's centerline. A turret would have to be pretty large and it would add extra cost, complexity, and point of potential failure. It's easier to just turn the boat.

In case you didn't read the post.

Another similar enemy helicopter was hit by fire and was able to reach its base airfield.

The DIU, not the SBU, never claimed the second helicopter made an emergency water landing. They also didn't claim it was a Mi-8.

That was the second helicopter, but it was only damaged.

Here is intercepted audio from that helicopter:

PRINCE 482 (MI-8) AT A RANGE OF 40, MAKING A LEFT TURN, MAINTAINING KAZBEK ZERO SIX. 482, I'M GOING DOWN! 482, I'M GOING DOWN! 482, TAKING COURSE TO KIMBU! KEEP TRACK OF ME, I'VE BEEN HIT! 482, CONTINUING FLIGHT, THERE WAS A BANG, THEY HIT ME. ENGINES ARE NORMAL FOR NOW, HOLDING OUT, HEADING TO KIMBU.

LAND ON THE EMERGENCY STRIP, DAMN IT! 482, DESCENDING TO BEACON 24. OBSERVED FROM THE SURFACE: IT WAS FIRED FROM THE LEFT OVER WATER, FLYING STRAIGHT ON TARGET. STARTED MANEUVERING, AND IN THE AREA OF THE ROTOR, THERE WAS A BANG. I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE PARAMETERS WERE, DAMN IT. AUTOPILOT SHUT OFF, NOW IT SEEMS LIKE THE PARAMETERS ARE NORMAL.

482, WE'VE DISPATCHED AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM AND A FIRE TRUCK.

Missile impacts at 0:50 and the helicopter crashes into the water at 1:03.

Bare cable weighs a lot less, about the weight of thin fishing line.

Yes, some Ukranian drones have fiber optic cables that are 20 km long.

It was a mistranslation from Telegram's built-in translator. Here is the correct translation:
